How it all started.
For over three decades, Pastors Steve and Dody have poured their hearts into ministry, embarking on a shared journey of faith that began with a profound sense of calling. Their first seven years were dedicated to short-term missions around the globe, where they rallied teams, planted churches, and witnessed lives transformed in distant corners of the world—all fueled by an unshakeable passion to spread the Gospel.
In 1997, that same fire led them to plant Mountainview Church right here in Rancho Cucamonga, starting humbly in the intimate setting of a backyard gathering before outgrowing its bounds and evolving through vibrant seasons at Rancho Cucamonga High School, then into a bustling business park, and ultimately into the welcoming space of a repurposed old Edwards Theater.
Each step forward was a testament to their commitment to lovingly share the life-changing message of Jesus Christ. At the core of it all lies their deepest desire: to guide people toward a saving knowledge of Him and empower them to live life at a higher level, filled with purpose and joy. Today, Pastor Steve and Dody cherish serving side by side at Mountainview, convinced that God has uniquely equipped them to build His Kingdom by loving people, reaching our community, and impacting the world with the love of Jesus.
